Abstract

The present work was conducted by the covenant SAA/IZ/UNITAU and carried out at Estação Experimental de Zootecnia of Pindamonhangaba, SP. It was analysed thirty different samples of wet brewers residue obtained at the Brahma brewery in Jacarei city. The average composition of the thirty different samples were: DM 15.59%; CP 30.92%; CF 16.19%; Ash 3.69%; EE 10.41%; TDN 77.64%. The analysis conducted on the standard sample resulted as follow: NDF 48.60%; ADF 18.83%; Ca 0.32%; P 0.60%, and for the amino acids methionine and lysine, 1.53 and 4.49g/100g of protein, respectively.
