Abstract

Bee pollination is one of the best alternatives to improve crop productivity, besides its contribution to the preservation of native vegetation areas. Lack of natural pollinators may prevent increases in productivity of most crops. Therefore, the introduction of supplementary pollinators is helpful, but its efficiency on productivity increasing in some crops still needs to be studied. The present work is aimed at reviewing the studies conducted in Brazil on bee pollination of squash, eggplant, coffee, canola, onion, beans, sunflower, macadamia, cucumber and soybean crops.
