Abstract

The effect of pelleted dried citrus pulp in growing finishing swine rations was studied. A completely random design with a factorial 4 (rations) x 2 (sex) and 3 replications was used. The rations contained 0%, 5%, 10% e 20% of pelleted dried citrus pulp, respectively, for treatments A, B, C and D. The animals were three-cross. The experiment was conducted during a 98 days period. Increasing the level of dried citrus pulp, the liveweight gain and feed consumption decreased but had no effect in feed conversion.
