Abstract

The purpose of this paper was the determination of the activity of glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase, using technique standars in erythroenzimology; this would permit to establish standards of activity of glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase in spermatozoa for study of their metabolic behaviour in different physiological and experimental conditions. Thus, the activity of GOT was determined in spermatozoa from eight mantiqueira bulls. The results showed that the employed had good reproductibility and the variation coefficients within of the normal limits. It was conclued that this methodology may be recommended for the establishment of the enzimatic standard in spermatozoa of bulls.
