Antelmintic in dairy cattle in the Northeast Region, State of São Paulo

Abstract

The research was conducted in Northeast Region of State of São Paulo, Brazil, from May/79 to April/80. Twenty-one dairy calves Gir breed, average age initial 60 days, were randomily assigned to three treatments and seven replications. The control treatment (T) no received anthelmintic, the month treatment (M) received anthelmintic applications monthly and the bimestrial treatment (B) received anthelmintic applications with two months interval. The statistic analysis of EPG counting was significant among treatments. The statistic analysis was not significant to weight gain and red cells counting.
